Two proposals to host Plone Conference 2012 were received by the Plone Foundation board prior to the January 1 deadline.
The two proposals came from:
Arnhem, The Netherlands - by Four Digits
Paris, France - by Abstract and Fanelli Consulting
The board will be reviewing the the proposals between now and January 13th as part of a due diligence process. They will then will release the proposals prior to an advisory vote by the membership between January 16th and 20th.
Following the membership vote, the board will meet, make a formal decision, and announce the location for Plone Conference 2012 on January 23rd. The conference will take place in October or November of 2012.
