1. Download everything.

I use deepvacumm for OS X,

I will probably only use the images so I could choose "only images"

2. Create a Plone site and install medialog.lxml

Also installl wildcard.foldercontents to upload the images

3. Upload the images with wildcard.foldercontents

You do this by clicking the contents tab, and then "upload"Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

4. Generate a site map of the old site

There are tools online that can do this

All we need is a list of urls, so you can do this manually from the files yo downloaded in 1. step.

5. Use Firebug to find which div or class that contains the "body text" of th former site

6. Whitelist (allow) the old site in the medialog control panel and enter the site name and div you found in 5 to the urls & selector pairs

7: Add the pages to your Plone site

There are two ways of doing this

If there are many pages,

make a CSV file with ‘url’ and ‘selector’ rows

- add /@@createpages  to your site's url

select the CSV file

- A page for each corresponding url & selector will be added

If there are few pages you can also do this by:

just open an url for each corresponding page, like:

http://localhost:8080/mysite/@@createpage?url=http://www.somewhere.com/apage.html

When you are finished you can uninstall the product.....
