After migrating a Plone 3 site to Plone 4.x I needed to switch all users from Kupu to TinyMCE.
I made use of a package called collective.setdefaulteditor (http://plone.org/products/collective.setdefaulteditor)
Once installed you can visit {your_plone_site}/@@set-default-editor and switch to TinyMCE.
