Sea Sprint focuses on “getting Deco Lite into the Plone 4.x series” as inspired by Eric Steele’s PSE 2012 talk. Sea Sprint has been designated a “strategic” sprint by the Plone Foundation.
A number of sponsors have made a large financial investment in Sea Sprint. See the full team and list of sponsors at Sea Sprint headquarters. However, a minority of the sprint expenses have not been covered completely yet. You, the Plone community, can help with that.
The Plone Foundation is accepting donations in support of the Sea Sprint. Go to the Sea Sprint fundraising page where you can make a tax-deductible contribution toward putting Deco into Plone. All donations for Sea Sprint go directly to the Plone Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Financial support isn’t the only way to help Sea Sprint. Sea Sprinters made two special presentation proposals for Plone Conference 2012. You can help by up-voting the talk proposals. Give an up-vote to Rok Garbas’s talk proposal “Deco, Finally!” so Rok can give an overview of state of Deco and CMSUI after the Sea Sprint. Also give an up-vote to the Sea Sprint Report Out, a detailed description of the accomplishments achieved during the first Sea Sprint.
Then finally submit your own Plone Conference talk proposal before the Wednesday deadline and register for Plone Conference 2012. See you in Arnhem!
